Hits for Hope (“H4H”) is a non-profit organization founded in New York City by two brothers and their life-long friend who grew up playing baseball together. H4H sees baseball as a vehicle to promote thinking outside the diamond to support baseball, the values it teaches, and to support people in need.
H4H’s mission is to bring together the amateur baseball community, including players, coaches, families and fans, to raise money for those in need through sponsorships and support of local teams. Our vision is to foster and encourage a passion for philanthropy through our love of the game of baseball.
Get involved! There are various levels of involvement tailored to different members of our communities. Students can engage their school's baseball team to participate, parents and fans can sponsor a player, or you can fund our various initiatives through donations.
During our inaugural season, we raised thousands of dollars for the victims of Hurricane Maria. Due to the pandemic, we have not had a full baseball season since then, but thanks to COVID-19 fighting measures, we are playing baseball for the first time since 2019! This season, we are focusing on aiding Ukrainian refugees. As a result of the Russian government's unjustified aggression, more than 10 million Ukrainians have been uprooted and displaced from their homes. Hits4Hope funds will go towards providing safety, shelter, and food to these at-risk refugees.
